Joost Vander Auwera (Bruges 1957),PhD, MBA, is an art historian and honorary senior museum curator at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium,Brussels and was professor in museology, cultural management, connoisseurship and art of the Netherlands at Ghent University, Brussels University (VUB) and visiting professor at the summer courses of Duke University (Durham, NC, USA).
